  Society of Sprouts While walking past the cafe I stopped by a MicroGreens tent and picked up these lovely patches of Arugula and Snap Peas. Upon further investigation, I began to notice little sprout people popping out at me. At an even closer look, I noticed that the snap peas had little balls at the very end of the sprouts close to the roots. This is where I got the inspiration for the head of my sprout people. I played around with the concept of the sprout on your head representing both your age and status. The more sprouts you had the older you were. The more complex the pattern of the sprouts the higher you rank in society. As you can see in one of my drawings I created the sprout kind and his crown of sprouts.  The Girl Without Color The inspiration for this character was found while I was walking back from dinner and I walked past some cloth hanging out of a brick. As I looked closer to the piece of fabric I saw a girl who looked like she was crying and trying to run back to shelter in her hidden hole. I really liked how the cloth looked like a long draping dress, so when I first tried to recreate the character, I honed in on the dramatic dress and head wrapping. As I was drawing the girls I began to think of her story and that is where I started changing the drawing to match the story I was creating in my head. The Story Of The Girl Without Color A young girl was born into a world full of color and beauty. Everything around her including the people were vibrant and full of life.
